Meet Emerging Leader, Brandon Lynch! He is a Service Advisor at Pat McGrath Chevyland!
Brandon is originally from Manchester, IA. There is nothing more important to him than family, especially his four year old nephew, Landon, and three year old niece, Cora. He has a 13 year old Boxer that he has had since he was six years old. Brandon graduated from West Delaware High School and then attended Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny where he graduated with a Ford Master and Associations Degree in Automotive.
When Brandon isn’t working he enjoys riding motorcycles, fishing, and sunset photography. Of course, he also enjoys spending time with his niece and nephew. He is on the Park and Recreation Board for Hiawatha, as well as, a volunteer for the Hiawatha Fun Fest!
Brandon wanted to become an Emerging Leader to better himself in his career and learn from a great group of people who have structured and built a very successful dealership. He knows that he can also better himself as a person outside of work by going through the program.
The biggest leader in his life is his high school automotive teacher, Jason Guyer. He taught Brandon to set goals and work each and every day to achieve those goals. Brandon gives a lot of credit to Jason because of his desire to not only be an automotive instructor, but to go above and beyond that by teaching students real world lessons that will be faced and how to prepare for them. By Jason showing Brandon to go above and beyond he learned there is always a minimum you can do to complete a task at hand or you can go above and be more successful.
Brandon says that goals and setting a sense of direction has always been a big thing for him. He has learned if you set a goal and concentrate every day on how you can achieve that goal it will happen. How he uses this in his job is setting little goals within a big goal. If he does his job at the max of his ability through a day the little goals will be met and will then allow him to achieve the big goal.
