Get to Know Chevyland General Manager Scott Winker

What is your position here at McGrath Auto?
General Sales Manager for Pat McGrath Chevyland and Westdale Used Car Superstore.

How long have you been with McGrath Auto?
I’ve been with McGrath since April 1991.

What are your hobbies?
I enjoy golf, fishing, and spending time with family doing various activities.

Do you have a spouse or kids? Tell us a little about them.
My wife’s name is Tracy and we have been married for 17 years. We have two kids, Katelyn is 16 she is a sophomore at Xavier. Katelyn participates in soccer and basketball. Calvin is 13; he is in the 7th grade at Regis.  He plays baseball for the CR Reds, basketball & football.

What is the last book that you read or movie you have seen?
The last movie I have seen was The Hangover, 2 thumbs up and a must see!

What is your favorite restaurant or hangout spot in the Cedar Rapids area?
My favorite place to go is home. After work or on the weekends, I enjoy spending time at home.

What was your job before starting here at Pat McGrath Chevyland?
My last job before coming to Chevyland was working for Combined Insurance. This was selling $20.00 and $40.00 supplemental insurance policies door to door. This was not a fun job, nobody is that eager to buy insurance from a door to door sales person. I did this for 1 year and that was enough.

What was most used when you started at McGrath, 8-track, Album, Cassette, CD, Ipod, or they didn’t even have music yet?
Cassette.

Do you have any pets?
I have a Schitzu named Snickers.

Any upcoming vacations? Your last vacation?
My next vacation is going to be spring break with my family, we are going to Florida.
