Congratulations are in order to the McGrath Family of Dealerships Emerging Leaders Class of 2021 graduates! Another event for the books, and another year of successful newly-minted future leaders for the McGrath Auto team!
In August 2014, the McGrath Family of Dealerships launched the very first Emerging Leaders Program. With the company quickly growing, as well as the need for more management, the program was developed to nurture those team members with the potential to be great future leaders at McGrath. Additionally, McGrath Auto Emerging Leaders is a program designed to take talented and willing employees, and allowing them to experience a year of mental growth and leadership skills.
Each year, McGrath holds a graduation for these Emerging Leaders with a banquet coupled with an award ceremony. The event is the culmination of their hard work, additionally, it is recognition for a job well done, showing everyone what they’ve achieved.
This Year’s Emerging Leaders Banquet
On June 16th, our 2021 class graduated from the program. The ceremony took place at Biaggi’s in Cedar Rapids, and team members from many of our locations attended–with Jaymie McGrath and Murphy McGrath emceeing the event. A night filled with good food, well wishes, and, of course, belly laughs! A supervisor preceded each graduate, giving a speech on how–from their perspective–each individual grow and excel from the program, as well as information reinforcing the effort of these individuals.
