On Friday, February 16th, we witnessed the incredible power of community and generosity come to life at the McGrath Cares Community Drive. This was the first event of many to come, as we’ll be doing a new one each quarter. The Community Drive not only reinforced our commitment to fostering a spirit of community engagement but also showcased the immense impact we can achieve together.
There was an absolutely overwhelming display of support, with participants across all McGrath locations stepping forward to donate non-perishable food items. The result was nothing short of extraordinary—together, we donated over 650 pounds of food to local food banks, directly benefiting HACAP in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, as well as the River Bend Food Bank in Dubuque and Davenport.
In gratitude for each donation, participants were gifted a one-time $25 service voucher, a small token of our appreciation for their generosity. The drive also featured a special AutoCare Package Giveaway (Congratulations to this month’s winner: Cynthia Bebber!)
The success of the McGrath Cares Community Drive is proof to the power of collective action. It was not just a day to give back, but a celebration of what we can accomplish when we come together for a common cause. The McGrath Cares Community Drive is a vivid reminder of our community’s capacity for kindness and the difference we can make when we join hands in service.
