GM announced that most 2014 models of Buick, GMC, and Chevrolet vehicles will receive a new maintenance plan that covers certain scheduled services.
While some alternative-fuel models do not include the oil-changes, and some high-performance vehicles are not eligible for tire rotations when the service is not recommended, GM emphasized that the vast majority of 2014 vehicles will be included.
GM Giving More to Customers in Cedar Rapids
The plan will span two years or 24,00o miles, and will include the following services:
- Oil change and oil filer
- Four-wheel Tire rotation
- 27-point vehicle inspection
People who are familiar with GM may have noticed that Cadillac is not included in the new maintenance package. That’s because Cadillac vehicles are already covered by the Cadillac Premium Care Maintenance Program, which covers scheduled maintenance services for four years and 50,000 miles.

According to a press release from GM, customers who have already purchased a 2014 Impala (which is available for Cedar Rapids drivers now) will receive the maintenance package regardless of delivery date.
The package will be available to car shoppers who choose to lease or purchase the 2014 models. Fleet buyers, GM employee purchasers, GM dealership purchasers, and GM supplier purchasers are eligible for the program.
Customers will receive Customer Sales & Service Retention (CSSR) and OnStar communications to confirm that they are participating in the program.
Also, the coverage is transferable as long as the vehicle is still eligible for the services.
