The 2016 Chevy Cruze is larger, 250 pounds lighter and more aerodynamic than its predecessor.
The Cruse is constructed of about eight percent hot-stamped / high-strength steels, which strengthens the structure by 27% and helps it shed fifty-three pounds.
It gets an estimated 40 miles per gallon on the highway and delivers 153 horsepower with its new 1.4-liter turbocharged engine with direct fuel injection. The start/stop technology improves the Cruze’s fuel efficiency in stop-and-go driving.
The class-leading wheelbase of 106.3 inches, it directly contributes to more rear knee and leg room in the Cruze. Plus, overall the Cruze is 2.7 inches longer and is almost one inch shorter in
height.

The new, advanced safety technology in the Cruze includes Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Keep Assist and Forward Collision Alert.
Some standard features include 10 air bags, four-wheel disc brakes and a rearview camera.
Available features for the Cruze include OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi, heated leather seats, wireless phone charging and a heated leather steering wheel.
The Cruze will be available in the L, LS, LT, Premier and RS packages.
The RS package includes a unique grille, fog lamps, front splitter, rocker panels, rear spoiler, front and rear fascias and 18-inch wheels.
The diesel model will be available in 2017.
