All-New 2022 Volkswagen Taos

2022 Volkswagen Taos

Volkswagen has done it again! Meet the all-new 2022 Volkswagen Taos. The Taos is smaller than the Tiguan, and has a competitive edge in the compact SUV segment.. SUVs are all the rage these days as buyers are looking for more space and capability. The Taos is smaller sized, but delivers on all of the SUV attributes.

Lookin’ Good

It’s clean. It’s modern. It’s hot! Bringing in design cues from the Tiguan and Atlas Cross Sport, the Taos will offer three different trim levels. LED headlights are standard on all three trim levels and on the higher end trims, you will get the illuminated line in the grille. The seats come in a stunning two tone pattern with the availability of heating or cooling options.

Let’s Talk Size

The Taos is a compact SUV that’s 175.8 inches long, which is 9.3 inches shorter than the Tiguan. Don’t worry, your passengers will be nice and comfy with 99.5 cubic feet. Yes, you will be able to fit everything you need to haul around. It has 28.1 cu ft of cargo space behind the second row and 66.3 cu ft of space with the second row folded down.

Feel the Power

With advanced engineering the Taos packs a punch and it has great fuel economy. The 1.5 liter, four-cylinder engine provides you with 158 horsepower and 184 lb ft of torque. Like other Volkswagens, the Taos will have the available with 4Motion all-wheel drive.

The Scoop on Technology

When it comes to technology, it stands above the rest in this SUV segment. The Taos has an astonishing digital cockpit and an 8-inch touchscreen that includes voice control. There is no doubt that our everyday lives are busy and it is more important than ever to stay connected. In the all-new Taos, you have Wi-Fi capability to help you stay connected and get your through your day without missing a beat.

Safety First

Standard in the Taos, is the IQ.Drive suite of driver assistance technology. Every model will come with Forward Collision Warning with Autonomous Braking, Active Blind Spot Monitor, Lane Keeping System, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go feature, Travel Assist and Emergency Assist. Available in addition to these, are the High Beam Control (Light Assist), the Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS), and Park Distance Control.
