At McGrath, we believe strong communities are built through action, generosity, and showing up for the people around us. Through McGrath Cares, our team is proud to continue supporting local families, organizations, schools, nonprofits, and community events across Eastern Iowa.
As we close out Q2, we’re excited to share how that impact has grown so far this year.
Making a Bigger Impact in Q2
Year to date, McGrath Cares has helped support local families and organizations through donations, volunteer work, sponsorships, and community involvement.
So far this year, McGrath Cares has contributed:
2,720+ supplies collected and donated to support local families
247 volunteer hours dedicated by our team
$103,300 donated to local causes and organizations
40 local events sponsored throughout the communities we serve
47 local organizations supported through McGrath Cares efforts
These numbers represent more than donations or volunteer hours. They represent families receiving needed supplies, local events gaining support, organizations expanding their reach, and team members taking time to make a difference.

Some of the Q2 events and initiatives included:
Diaper Drive
McGrath Cares helped collect and donate essential supplies for local families through our Diaper Drive. Diapers and baby care items are everyday necessities, and this effort helped provide support for parents and caregivers in our community.
United Way Day of Caring
Our team took part in the United Way Day of Caring, joining other local volunteers to give back through hands-on service projects. This event is a powerful reminder of what can happen when businesses, nonprofits, and community members work together.
NL City Slate Remarkable Rigs
McGrath Cares was proud to support NL City Slate Remarkable Rigs, an event that brings families and community members together while showcasing unique vehicles, equipment, and local connections.
Women Lead Change Conference
Supporting leadership and professional growth in our community is an important part of giving back. McGrath Cares was proud to be involved with the Women Lead Change Conference, helping support conversations around leadership, growth, and opportunity.
Education is Everybody’s Business
McGrath Cares also supported Education is Everybody’s Business, an initiative focused on the importance of education, workforce development, and community investment. Supporting students, educators, and future leaders helps strengthen our communities for years to come.
