Get ready for a full day of Irish music, dancing, culture and community as the Irish Hooley Music Festival returns to Dubuque on Saturday, August 22, 2026. This year’s Irish Hooley will take place at a new location: the Back Waters Amp at Q Casino + Resort in Dubuque. The outdoor venue will provide plenty of room for attendees to enjoy live entertainment, Irish traditions and all the fun that has made the Hooley a favorite summer event.

For generations, a traditional Irish “hooley” has brought people together through music, dancing, songs, conversation and plenty of merriment. The Irish Hooley Music Festival continues that tradition by celebrating Irish and Celtic culture right here in Dubuque.
The 2026 entertainment lineup will be led by Gaelic Storm, bringing their energetic blend of Celtic music to the Hooley stage. Guests can also look forward to additional live music, Irish dancing, pipes and drums, food, drinks and a welcoming festival atmosphere throughout the day.
