J.D. Power has released their 2019 Initial Quality results and we are so proud to offer you six of the top 8 brands! So how do they measure initial quality? It comes down to the number of problems experienced per 100 vehicles during the first 90 days of ownership. The lower the score the better.
The top three brands are Genesis, Kia, and Hyundai! You guys, we are the ONLY dealership in Iowa that sells Genesis! How exciting is that! It is clear that the Korean brands continue to push the limits and are seeing success. Performing exceptionally well is their technology and infotainment. Models that ranked the highest within the group were the Genesis G70, Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Forte, Kia Rio, Kia Sedona, and Kia Sportage!
Chevrolet, Ford, Buick, Dodge all ranked above industry average. The models that ranked the highest were the Chevrolet Equinox, Chevrolet Malibu, Chevrolet Silverado HD, Chevrolet Tahoe, Dodge Challenger, Ford Fusion, and Ford Ranger!
