The brand new Volkswagen Tiguan is out of this world! Sleek & Bold, Safe & Comfortable! Volkswagen went all out for this redesign, there’s a ton of amazing standard features as well as additional options that are top of the line!
Let’s break it down:
Technology
Volkswagen really brought the technology in the 2018 Tiguan not only do you have a 8″ touchscreen but there’s also a digital driver information center, or “Digital Cockpit”, that gives you tons of vehicle information right from the buttons on your steering wheel. Speedometer, navigation, fuel economy, driver assist, and more, all on a high tech 12.3″ display! Along with your digital displays you get Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Sirius XM Radio, key-less entry, push-start, dual climate control and a ton of safety features!
Safety
Speaking of Safety features…
The new Tiguan screams safety from the wheel bearings to the windshield. 4MOTION all-wheel drive has been VWs trademark for some time now. 4MOTION involves communication between the front and rear axle to work together during unstable driving conditions, via the transfer of torque, and disable the rear during good conditions. This makes for a multi-terrain capable, safe, and efficient vehicle. Along with the 4MOTION, VW has packed in some other features that can be controlled from the Digital Cockpit! Safety features like; Pedestrian Monitoring, Blind-Spot Monitoring, Front Assist, and Autonomous Emergency Breaking!
Cargo
From the 2017 model to the 2018 -Volkswagen added 11 inches to the Tiguan! That means when the seats are down you can haul 73 1/2 cubic feet of cargo -that’s 30% larger than the previous! Along with the 40/20/40-split folding seats are adjustable middle row seating with tons of leg room. The 2018 Tiguan also has a 3rd row option! Plenty of configurations for the family and cargo combined.
Style
We LOVE the all new exterior of the Tiguan. A very bold and sophisticated style from Volkswagen that we’ve started to see them lead with on the, newly released, Atlas. Alloy wheels, sleek lines, new interior options, LED daytime running headlights and taillights, to name a few!
