Born: I was born in Burlington, Iowa and currently live in Marion.
Family: I have a son, Maverick who is 11 months old!
Hobbies: I love volunteering and helping others and enjoy photography.
First job: Carlos O’Kelly’s and a daycare and I loved them both.
Career: After high school I went straight into the medical field, I loved every second of it but wanted to challenge myself and try something different.
Something that would surprise others: cooking, drawing, and writing. I would love to publish a book.
Why did you want to become an Emerging Leader: I wanted to learn skills that I can use in my everyday personal and work life. I also wanted the chance to meet new people.
Proud accomplishment: Becoming a mom has been the best blessing! My son has changed my life in so many ways.
Passion that fires you up: The chance to help others, or make someone’s day better, even if it’s the smallest think like making someone smile.
Something you want to do before you die: Travel to Ireland.
Personal motto: “Be thankful for what you are now, and keep fighting for what you to be tomorrow.”
Piece of advice: Live every day to its fullest, tomorrow isn’t always promised.
