A new school year should begin with excitement, confidence, and the supplies every student needs to succeed. This July, the McGrath Family of Dealerships is inviting our customers, team members, and communities to help local students start the year prepared.
From Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31, participating McGrath Service Centers will collect new school supplies as part of the McGrath Cares Community Service Drive.
Whether you bring in a backpack, notebooks, pencils, folders, or another classroom essential, your donation can make a meaningful difference for students and teachers in the communities we serve.
Help Us Stock Local Classrooms
School supplies can add up quickly for families and educators. By working together, we can help fill backpacks, stock classrooms, and give students the tools they need to focus on learning.
Requested donations may include:
- Backpacks
- Notebooks and composition books
- Pencils, pens, and erasers
- Crayons, markers, and colored pencils
- Folders and binders
- Glue sticks
- Scissors
- Pencil cases
- Rulers
- Other new classroom essentials
All collected supplies will be distributed through local schools and community organizations serving students in Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha, Marion, Iowa City, Dubuque, Davenport, and the surrounding areas.
Donate and Receive a $25 Service Voucher
Customers who bring a new school supply donation to a participating McGrath Service Center from July 27 through July 31 will receive a $25 service voucher.
You can use the voucher toward a current service visit or save it for a future appointment. It is our way of thanking you for helping local students begin the school year with the supplies they need.
The $25 service voucher is valid for one-time use and cannot be combined with any other offer. Additional restrictions may apply. Please contact your participating McGrath Service Center for complete details.

Your donation can also give you the opportunity to enter our McGrath AutoCare Package Giveaway.
One winner will be selected from all participating McGrath locations following the conclusion of the drive. To enter, participants must visit a participating location, make a qualifying school supply donation, and complete the official entry form in person between July 27 and July 31.
The winner will be drawn the following week.
