Calling all dads! Bring your family to the Now Be A Dad Big Truck Event @ Hawkeye Downs, Saturday, August 10th from 1–5pm. This hands-on event will give families an up-close look at construction vehicles, vintage cars, motorcycles, Cedar Rapids emergency vehicles & more! As a bonus, the Cedar Rapids Corvette Club will be on the track for practice races at 4 p.m.
Thanks to a sponsorship from the McGrath Family of Dealerships, this event is free to attend with a donation of school supplies or items to support basic needs such as diapers, wipes, household cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
Now Be A Dad aims to promote the engagement of fathers with their children as well as to help generate much needed supplies to support children of all ages.
