The holidays are the perfect time to spread a little extra cheer, and McGrath is excited to bring back our annual toy drive as part of the McGrath Cares Community Service initiative! From December 1st to 5th, we’re inviting our communities in Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Iowa City, and the surrounding areas to help brighten the season for kids in need.
How It Works
At each McGrath location, we’ll have a truck or SUV on display in the showroom where you can place your toy donations. Each vehicle will serve as a collection point, with all gifts displayed in the trunk. It’s a fun way to see the generosity of our community in action!
Local Non-Profits You’ll Be Supporting
Your donations will go directly to local organizations helping children in your area:
- Cedar Rapids: Waypoint
- Dubuque locations: Toys for Tots
- Iowa City (TIC) & UCDV: Toys for Tots

As a thank you for your generosity, all customers who bring a donation during the event will receive a $25 Service Voucher.

Win an Auto Care Package!
On top of giving back, one lucky participant across all locations will win a special Auto Care Package. To enter:
- Make a donation during the event (Dec. 1–5)
- Sign up in person using the QR code available at each location
The winner will be drawn the following week. Submission forms are only available during the event week, and a donation is required to enter.
