McGrath Auto was lucky enough to send a few members of our McGrath team to travel to Indianapolis Motor Speedway to learn all about Chevrolet’s strong line up for 2016.
The Find New Roads Experience education event was hosted by Chevrolet, welcoming dealers to come test new vehicles and learn about the new technology and safety features on and off the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Read a couple McGrath Team members sharing their experience:
Ben Taylor, Pat McGrath Chevyland
“We had the opportunity to test the new technology and saftey features and learn about other makes and models and how they compare to chevrolet. The adaptive cruise control was my favorite this to demonstrate. We got the car to 45mph and set the cruise then followed a lead car and she came to a complete stop and I didnt have to touch the break pedal. The car stopped its self. Pretty amazing. And getting to take a new Camaro on a road course was a blast. Lots of power coming from a v6. We also got to take a few different makes aroud a road track and got to feel how they handle with acceleration and cornering.”

“The trip to Indy was an awesome experience. The one thing I felt was unique, was the Possibilities Pavilion. There, we got a chance to to gain more product knowledge of some of the upcoming vehicles (i.e. Bolt, Malibu Hybrid) and the technology within the vehicles. Also, got a chance to meet with the designer of the Cruze. The great thing about that was, him asking for feedback on what we think the consumer would like within the cruze. Overall, I learned a lot and will be able to implement the info into my job.”

“My favorite part about the Find New Roads Experience was the possibilities pavilion which was a large center at the speedway that was designated to all show all of the new products and features Chevy will be adding to their lineup. They had a station for new technologies they plan on implementing and a few vehicles they plan on incorporating into the lineup in the future.”
