Do you find yourself gaining weight during the holiday season? With the help of the McGrath fitness facility — the Body Shop — employees will be challenged to maintain their weight for seven weeks during the holiday season!
If employees do not gain over 2 pounds after the seven weeks, then they win a prize. Prizes include gift cards for workout gear, McGrath Body Shop t-shirts, Dick’s gift cards and more!
The location with the highest number of participants will have a catered healthy breakfast.
To help the McGrath employees maintain their weight, the participants will be provided with newsletters on healthy recipes and strategies on how to not overindulge on holiday meals.
Staff will also be encouraged and given some suggestions on how to stay active, like setting alarms to remind yourself to stand up and stretch at work. Also, the Body Shop offers free cardio, spin, yoga and zumba classes to employees with the fitness center membership.
The weigh-ins and weigh-outs will be performed at each McGrath location.
Weigh-In: November 19th and 20th
Weigh-Out: January 7th and 8th
