On April 12, McGrath Auto employees helped Human Resources Director Missy Albert donate double the amount of gently used clothing to the Eastern Iowa Human Resource Association‘s Professional Clothing Drive than any other person!
The beneficiaries of the business casual to traditional professional clothing is the Cedar Rapids Community School District. The clothes will help Metro High School kids have professional attire for when they go on job interviews and start working.
In total, 95 items were donated by McGrath employees: 45 men’s dress shirts, 22 men’s dress pants, 4 men’s sweaters, 2 men’s suit coats, 3 ties, 4 pairs of men’s shoes, 7 women’s dress shirts, 5 women’s dress pants, 1 women’s jacket and 2 pieces of women’s jewelry.
Bins were dropped off at each McGrath Auto
location in the Cedar Rapids, Coralville, Hiawatha and Dubuque areas on Monday, March 28, and were collected by Friday, April 9. On April 12, Missy Albert took it to an Eastern Iowa Human Resources Association meeting.
