Mr. Big Volume & the Kia HamStar were invited to come to the final home game of the Cedar Rapids Rampage to play a friendly game of soccer with other local mascots! So many Corridor favorites came out including the Kernals Mr. Shucks & even Iowa City Hawkeye’s very own Herky!
McGrath Family of Dealerships was thrilled to come support such a great local sporting event on February 13th, 2016. The Cedar Rapids Rampage team members held a free soccer clinic for the Cedar Rapids youth to come out and learn some soccer skills from our talented Rampage soccer team before their final home match.
The Rampage took the field at 7:05 against the St. Louis Ambush in front of a 3,640-person crowd on Saturday. The Rampage left the field at half-time down 2 – 3 to the Ambush when your Corridor Mascots took the field! Mr. Big Volume & Kia HamStar we’re on Team Rampage Saturday night along side Kernal’s Mr. Shucks, Coe College’s KoHawk, Balloon ETC’s Funky Monkey, Great Clips’ Sudsy and finally Iowa City Hawkeye’s Herky! The Game started out in a face pace, Mr. Shucks lead Team Rampage to their first goal of the night! After a few minutes of hardcore Mascot soccer, Herky buried a goal in around Cornell College’s Ram. Collins Community Kangaroo took control of the ball and scored on Team Rampage to make the game 2-1. As the minutes became seconds, the ball came into favor for Team Rampage as Herky drove the ball in for a goal as the clock hit zero! Mr. Big Volume and Kia HamStar where handing out high fives to all the Mascots congratulating them all on a great game!
