Why a Viper?
Let’s face it, not everybody needs a heart-pumping 640 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque, but the 2013 Viper SRT wasn’t built for everybody.
These cars are for a special breed of people who enjoy driving, enjoy power and performance, and want to experience excitement every time they get behind the wheel. It’s not a family’s minivan, and it’s never tried to be. It’s a Viper.
Although the 2013 SRT Viper is known for muscle-bound engines, it does have inside features that create an enjoyable and convenient drive.
Inside both of the upcoming Vipers will be SRT’s High Performance Audio system with 18 individual speakers. The vehicles will also have an 8.4 inch color touch-screen and an LED backlit display system, which provides performance oriented information.
SRT Means Performance for Chrysler’s Brands
SRT (Sport and Racing Technology) is the Chrysler Group’s high performance division, taking cars from Chrysler’s brands (Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Chrysler) and turning them into horsepower-soaked performance vehicles.
Examples of SRT models include the Dodge Challenger SRT and the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, and, of course, the 2013 Viper SRT.
The ultimate muscle car will soon be prowling the streets of Cedar Rapids, probably around mid or late-June, and you can be the first person in town to take this amazing vehicle home.
