What McGrath Employee makes you laugh every time?
I laugh at myself all the time! Honestly, the funniest guy here is new car manager James Brunner!
What individual has had the largest influence on your success at McGrath Auto?
Our new car managers, Clint Bitterman and Andy Burns have had the biggest influence on me.
Do you have a spouse or kids? Tell us a little about them.
I’ve been married for 33 years and have three children, two daughters and one son. Our first daughter is a school teacher, second daughter is in retail management and my son works at Farm Bureau Insurance and was just married in June!
What is the last book that you read or movie you have seen?
The last movie I saw was Gran Torino.
What is your favorite restaurant or hangout spot in the Cedar Rapids area?
My favorite restaurant is Red Lobster sea food.
What is your most memorable experience at McGrath Auto?
My most memorable moment was being a part of our staff here after Pat McGrath Chevyland was awarded 2010 Dealer of the Year (1 of 51 nation wide) by General Motors.
What was the first vehicle that you ever owned?
The first car that I owned was a Ford Galixie 500.
What was your job before starting here at McGrath Auto?
I owned my own business.
What is your favorite season/holiday Why?
CHRISTMAS! Because ’tis the season!
What vehicle do you personally drive?
I currently drive a Chevy Monte Carlo.
Any upcoming vacations? Your last vacation?
I have a trip to Branson coming up that I go on every fall with some very good friends!
