What an incredible group of sharp, driven, and talented individuals. To honor their achievements, we wrapped up this year’s program with a celebration dinner and recognition ceremony on May 28, 2025, at the Kirkwood Hotel in Cedar Rapids.
What Is The Emerging Leaders Program?
Since its inception in August 2014, the McGrath Emerging Leaders Program has focused on developing internal talent and preparing the next generation of leaders. From the beginning, it was built to grow future leadership from within.
As McGrath continued to expand, so too did the need for strong, capable leaders ready to step into bigger roles. To meet that need, this year-long program was designed to challenge high-potential team members—encouraging personal growth, sharpening leadership skills, and fostering a mindset of ownership and collaboration.
Each year, we proudly recognize our graduates with a formal celebration. More than just a banquet, it serves as a meaningful tribute to the time, energy, and passion each participant brings to the program.
A Night To Remember
This year, like those before it, was no exception. As the evening unfolded, supervisors introduced each graduate with a short speech, offering personal insights and anecdotes that highlighted their unique journey, the strengths they demonstrated, and the progress they made throughout the program.
Consequently, the night was filled with heartfelt applause, well-earned recognition, and—naturally—a lot of laughs. It was a fitting end to a year of challenge, development, and camaraderie.

Throughout this program, you’ve set a powerful example of what growth and dedication look like. As you move forward, we can’t wait to see where you go next—and who you’ll become along the way.
