Emerging Leaders Class of 2022 Graduate

We’d like to give a big shout out and congrats to the McGrath Family of Dealerships Emerging Leaders Class of 2022 graduates! What a wonderful group of multi-talented individuals! We celebrated with a dinner and platform for highlighting each individual leader earlier this month.

What Is The Emerging Leaders Program?

In August 2014, the McGrath Family of Dealerships launched the very first Emerging Leaders Program. With the company quickly growing, as well as the need for more management, the program was developed to nurture those team members with the potential to be great future leaders at McGrath. Additionally, McGrath Auto Emerging Leaders is a program designed to take talented and willing employees, and allow them to experience a year of mental growth and leadership skills.

McGrath annually holds a graduation for these Emerging Leaders with a banquet coupled with an award ceremony. The event is the culmination of their hard work and also their strength as a group.  Additionally, it is recognition for a job well done, showing everyone what they’ve achieved.

This year’s ceremony took place June 8, 2022 at the Cedar Rapids Country Club, and so team members from many of our locations attended. A night filled with good food, well wishes, and, of course, belly laughs! A supervisor preceded each graduate, giving a speech on how–from their perspective–each individual grew and excelled from the program, as well as information reinforcing the effort of these individuals.
