Haven’t had a library card since you were a kid? Here are 5 benefits to getting a library card that go beyond the books!
1.Courses On A Variety Of Skills
Are you one that likes research? Find access to research articles, dig into your ancestor history, consumer reports, and more! Enjoy movies and books? Get free access to them and check out the Tumblebooks which are e-books for kids!
2.Free Wi-fi
Maybe you don’t have access to Wi-fi at home or maybe you just need to get out of the house. Whatever it is, you will have full access to Wi-fi at your local library. Fun little tip as a cardholder, you are able to check out a hotspot for 10 days, so awesome!
3. Computers & Printers
Not only will you have access to computers and Wi-fi, but you will have access to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. There are a number of laptops that are also available for checkout. Being a cardholder you will also have access to printing at a low cost!
4. Programs and Special Events
From book clubs to preschool programs, the library has so much to offer! You can join in on so many events ranging from a game of chess to baby and toddler activities, crafts, learning workshops, and more. One of the coolest opportunities is that with an adult library card, you can get an adventure pass to be able to visit some of the cool museums or zoos.

“Ask a librarian” is available online as well as many helpful friendly faces located at the library!
