June was a month full of fun and excitement at McGrath! We had our Annual McGrath Night at the Races where we treated our employees to a night at Hawkeye Downs Speedway! They enjoyed free drinks, food, and the stock car races! It was a fun night had by all that attended! That event started up the month, but wasn’t the only exciting thing that happened.
Brooke, our Public Relations and Events Coordinator, was active at the Saturday Corridor Cars and Coffee events on the 3rd and 17th! (This event happens at True North from 8:00-11:00 AM! If you love a great cup of coffee and cars–this is the event for you!)
On the 8th and 9th of June we were excited and honored to host Sam Dantzler. Dantzler spoke to all McGrath employees about exceeding expectations and pushing yourself to the limits to achieve great success. It was a training that was inspiring for all.
On the 13th of June we honored our third group of Emerging Leaders on the completion of the program. These individuals made us extremely proud of their hard work and dedication. To celebrate, we had a wonderful evening that Linge Lounge in the Theatre Cedar Rapids. There was wonderful food, refreshing drinks, and great company! Congrats, again, to the Emerging Leaders for completing this outstanding program! You’ve all grown as better leaders, teammates, and friends!

Not only did we have an amazing month of our achievements, but we helped organizations in our community achieve their goals too! We sponsored the Relay for Life of Linn County event, supported the Gems of Hope Golf Classic, and donated to the Pedal for Life organization.
We’ve been busy, but we wouldn’t have any other way! July looks just as fun and we can’t wait to see what it holds for us!
