How to Use the Cadillac CUE Infotainment System

November 23, 2015 By Alexandra Sydor

Cadillac Cue System

The 8-inch customizable LCD touchscreen Cadillac CUE (Cadillac User Experience) impressively features the technology of three separate computer cores, quick processing speeds and Bluetooth for the ultimate experience.

Cadillacs have available 4G LTE Wi-Fi for up to seven mobile devices.

Connect your devices to the system through one of the three USB ports, SD card slot and AUX jack.

With the Natural Voice Recognition, drivers can speak casually as if in a conversation rather than use awkward commands.Cadillac-CUE-McGrath

The Cadillac CUE stores up to sixty favorites, whether it be music, addresses, maps, phone numbers or system commands like ‘tag song.’ The frequently used apps can be accessed in the app tray at the top of the screen.

The CUE can access the contacts and songs on up to ten Bluetooth-enabled smartphones. The CUE collects the music from all connected phones into a single playlist so if you ask the CUE to play a specific song, it will play it.

The system recognizes motions like swipes and pinch-zooming just like a tablet or a smartphone. To make sure that you focus on your driving, the Cadillac CUE has proximity-sensing technology. When you press an icon, the screen pulses to let the driver know that it as pressed.

The center control panel that opens below the infotainment screen has a hidden USB port and can be a space where you can store wallets, garage door openers, sunglasses and phones.

The 3-D GPS navigation system has Doppler weather reports that notify you of the weather of your current destination and the weather of your future destination at the time that you are estimated to arrive.

The Cadillac CUE connects drivers with to a variety of music and entertainment: Pandora, HD Radio, SiriusXM Radio and a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone’s music library.
