It has been a busy month at McGrath and we had fun the entire time!
Our biggest event this month was our 3rd Annual McGrath 5k!! We had over 100 people who ran/walked together. This event was only open to our employees and their families (including dogs)! After the race everyone enjoyed a free pancake breakfast from HyVee!
We were honored to have Jason Selk come and speak with employees this month about mental toughness! It was a fantastic opportunity for employees to grow as individuals and as team members.
On September 21st we had members of our team go help on another kind of team for the day. Habitat for Humanity was in need of help with one of their homes and we were there to help! McGrath employees laid sod, landscaped, and painted the interior of the home. Fun was had by all and a good thing was accomplished in the process.
Congrats are in order for this month’s Difference Maker, Stephen Ochs! Customer Merilee and William R. said,
Mr. Stephen Ochs examined our car. He moved to a cabinet in your assessment area and returned with a special polish and equipment to apply it. Within ten minutes he had cleaned and polished the area. I honestly felt it looked as good as new. Mr. Ochs declined payment for the service. He indicated that this was part of his role. His assistance was very much appreciated.
Great job Stephen! We’re glad to have you on our team!
