Representing the top achievement in dependability, Dodge Grand Caravan was named “Most Dependable Van” by J.D. Power and Associates in the 2009 Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS). This study focuses on problems experienced by original owners (over 46,000 original owners were surveyed). Among the 12 models in the Van segment, Grand Caravan achieved an index score of 153 PP100 (problems per 100 vehicles), compared to the segment average of 196 PP100—a difference of 43 PP100. Dodge Grand Caravan beat Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey for top honors.
