Here are ways that the Auto manufactures are making an impact in the safety of all.
General Motors
General Motors has stepped up to the plate by partnering with a well-known ventilator manufacturer, Ventec Life systems and has aided in the production of ventilators.
Ford
Ford partnered with both 3M and SE Healthcare in the production of air-purifying respirators and ventilators. In addition to producing the respirators and ventilators, Ford will also be producing face shields for healthcare workers. The air-purifying respirators will be supplied to first responders and healthcare workers.
Fiat Chrysler
FCA is producing face masks for healthcare workers and first responders at one of its factories. They plan to produce around a million facemasks per month and will be distributing them to the United States. All masks produced by FCA will be donated to first responders and hospitals.
Hyundai
Hyundai is supporting coronavirus drive-thru testing centers. They have donated $200,000 from their Hyundai Hope On Wheels to several children’s hospitals around the U.S to support the COVID-19 drive-thru tests.
