Introducing the new 2020 Hyundai Sonata now available at McGrath Hyundai. Just in time for the new year, the new 2020 Sonata arrived on our lot November 25th, 2019. The Sonata received a stunning redesign from the previous 2019 Sonata model and you cannot believe what you get for this affordable price! We are taking you through a full review of what the 2020 Sonata has to offer you. Let’s dive into some of the changes you’ll see!
Sonata Exterior Upgrade
The all-new Sonata has a lower center of gravity to make it ultra aerodynamic resulting in a lighter and stronger stance. Mix that with the aggressive front end, digital-post cascading grille and dynamic lasso design, you get a new sensuous sporty design that sets the tone for Sonatas. Many enhancements like the hidden chrome LED lamp that is chrome trim when the vehicle is off, and LED lit when the vehicle is on.
The rear of the Sonata might be the most dramatic change Hyundai is made for this redesign in addition to the aero fins at the top of the lights, they are a stylish detail that also contributes to the car’s 0.27 coefficient of drag. These features pair to emphasize the cars width.
Sonata Key Card
One of the most cutting edge features you’ll see with this new Sonata is a digital key technology. Hyundai wanted to give you choices with this redesign. You can enter your car with the key fob which has remote start, the first time that’s been available on the Sonata. The key card you can conveniently stash in your wallet or use Hyundai’s digital key app. Yes, you heard me right, you can use an app to unlock and start your car.
Sonata Interior Upgrade
Jumping inside not only does it look sleek and fresh but you’re immersed in the new modern design, full of state-of-the-art features shaped for your comfort and convenience. Some of my favorite things on the new Sonata include the 12.3 inch digital instrument cluster display combined with the 10.2 inch color touch screen with:
- Navigation
- Apple Carplay
- Android Auto
Hyundai really paid attention to the flow inside the new Sonata. They added a push button shifter to save space and add to its technologically advanced cabin.
A few other key features are the:
- Wirelessly charging pad
- Remote start
- Heated and cooled steering wheel
- Full 360 surround view monitor
Safety features in the Hyundai Sonata include the all-new Hyundai SmartSense. Hyundai SmartSense is an innovative suite of safety features both standard and available using driver assistance technology that actively monitors your surroundings.
Hyundai SmartSense:
- Remote start parking assist
- Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
- Lane following assist
- Rear occupant alert
- Highway drive assist
- Blind-spot collision-avoidance assist
- High Bean Assist
- Driver Attention Warning
- Rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist
