The Quad City Blues will hold their 11th annual benefit games on Saturday, February 19th, at the TaxSlayer Center! They will face off against the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders in the battle for the “Genesis Cup.”
Annual Benefit Games – Hockey With Heart
This year’s theme is “Hockey with Heart,” as the team is raising money with all proceeds going to Genesis Heart Health.
The Genesis Heart Institute exists to facilitate compassionate, quality services that meet the cardiovascular needs of the Iowa and Illinois region. They strive to improve cardiovascular health in the communities they serve and strengthen its position as the regional provider of choice.
The JV game will kick off at 11 AM, followed by the Varsity match at 1 PM! Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to kick back, relax and participate in a great cause!
Some of the additional activities that will take place at the benefit include a Jersey Auction, a Bake Sale, a Silent Auction, and a 50/50 Raffle.
Oh–and don’t forget: HOCKEY!
McGrath Auto is hopping on board and donating $100 to help cover the tournament costs. We are always overjoyed to contribute in any way to causes in our communities!
