On Friday, August 11th, 2017, we will officially take over the reputable and long-standing Zimmerman Auto Center, located at 4001 1st Ave SE in Cedar Rapids, IA, from owner Mark Zimmerman. What this crucial acquisition means for you is three more top-tier brands added to our already extensive selection of vehicles: Ford, BMW and Mitsubishi. In addition to our Dubuque based Hyundai dealership that opened its doors in 2016, we will also acquire a second Hyundai dealership right here in Cedar Rapids!

Mark Zimmerman stated his family was looking to get out of the dealership business after an incredible 48 years after his father purchased the dealership on First Avenue SE. “The timing was right for my wife, Tracy, and myself,” Zimmerman told KCRG-TV9.
“We are thrilled we were able to sell it to McGrath. We feel very confident our customers and employees will do a great job.”
