It was an extremely eventful month here at McGrath! Our days were full of amazing customers, new friendships, and lots of fun!
This was a month about giving, at least at McGrath!
On the 5th we had our very own blood drive. We made it a competition between the Chevy location and the Buick location to see which store could give the most blood! The overall winner was Chevy with 12 units and Buick came in close with 9 units.
Throughout the month we raised money for Operation Diaper Drive! We had bins to collect diapers at three locations where employees and customers could donate diapers of all sizes and wipes for the Eastern Iowa Diaper Bank! It was a successful fundraiser and we were glad to help!
Chevyland did a great job of supporting Breast Cancer Awareness this month! If you drove by or stopped in you would have seen the pink ribbon the front of the store and lots of pink ribbons throughout the showroom floor! Everyone was equipped with lapel pink ribbon pins and pink bracelets. We also used #idrivefor to raise money for cancer research. For each hashtag we used, we raised $5, thanks to Chevrolet.
On the 19th we had our grand opening celebration of McGrath Ford Hyundai BMW! It was a great night full of laughs, excitement, great food, and entertainment. The Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance came out with their giant scissors and red ribbon and we had our official ribbon cutting ceremony! Thanks to everyone that joined us!
On the 25th, 9 women from McGrath attended the HER luncheon at the Kirkwood Hotel. The ladies enjoyed a delicious meal, insightful information, and met some wonderful mentors. McGrath Auto sponsored the keynote speaker.
It was a month full of great activities and had a fantastic time doing them all! We look forward to next month and what it has in store for us!
