What is your most memorable experience at McGrath Auto?
When Shuttle Driver Larry Wendt fell through the false ceiling in my office. He was attempting to hang Ed Sauer’s hard hat on a hanger under the “Janitorial Hall of Fame” in the shop. He fell about nine feet and stuck the landing in front of my desk! Following closely behind for most memorable moment would be when a car drove through the entrance and the exit doors on the service drive (at about 25mph without the doors opening first)!

1965 Chevrolet Impala SS, Big Block 396ci. What a way to learn how to drive, baby!
What is your most embarrassing moment at McGrath Auto?
I was training a new Service Adviser on a very busy day about 12 years ago when a car pulled up and blocked both lanes of the Service Drive exit. I said to the new Service Adviser, “Who is the dumb ____ blocking the exit?”. He said, “That’s my Mom, she said she would be stopping by to bring cup-cakes for all the guys”. I didn’t just stick my foot in my mouth, I stuck the whole leg in! Luckily, the new adviser laughed hysterically.
